Located in the heart of downtown McLean, the McLean Community Center hosts Music Together classes for mixed aged groupings of children and their parents or caregivers.
Summer 2008 Registration
Join us for the Summer Songs 3 this summer!
McLean resident registration begins 5/12/08; non-resident registration begins 5/19/08.
For online registration with a credit card, click here. Under the purple tab marked "Upcoming Activities", choose "Child Music" from the drop-down menu. Be sure to click the "next" button at the bottom of the page to view all Music Together course offerings.
To register in person, registration forms and a drop box are available near the entrance of the community center and can be accessed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. You may also visit the registrar, Barbara Smoot, in the registration office at the community center Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
To register by mail, complete a registration form, found in the program guide published by the McLean Community Center and mailed to each household in the Dranesville tax district. Mail the form with your payment to:

Summer 2008 Tuition
Tuition for eight week summer semester: $120 residents, $168 nonresidents of McLean.
One infant nine months and younger may attend free with a registered sibling.
Activity Fee (REQUIRED for each semester): $36.00 per family, payable to Little Steps Music on first day of class.
Activity fee includes two professionally recorded CDs of the semester's songs, rhythm chants, and play along music; a new songbook with illustrations and activities; and Music and Your Child: A Guide for Parents and Caregivers, a book designed to educate parents about music in their children's lives. An exciting new collection of songs is presented each semester!
A $30 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
